I had a very enjoyable time with this family last week. Great weather and the beginning of Fall color were an added bonus!
There was even time for hugs for the youngest member of the family!

I always encourage high school seniors to bring an item of clothing that makes a statement, is fun or has some memorable significance. I was really pleased this young lady did just that with this awesome jacket!
I had a great time with this fun and bubbly girl keeping her well past sunset for those extra shots!

This session really made me feel that Autumn is fast approaching. These children took some time to explore the last of the Summer flowers amidst the first golden leaves. It was nice meeting this family and working on their session was a great way to end the week.

I am loving my high school senior sessions this month. It’s great fun taking the photos of course but talking about the final year at school and plans for college remind me of what a wonderful journey is ahead for these students. I thought this image conveys perfectly the idea of this journey!
This young lady was simply wonderful to photograph and such great company for the session. These two images are quite contemporary but we have some more classic/traditional photos for the final gallery.

This is an image from one of several High School Senior promotional sessions I am doing this month. What a pleasure it was spending some time with this very accomplished young lady. She has a very exciting year ahead and I wish her all the best with her college applications.

Well here I am thinking ahead to Fall. I couldn’t believe a thunderstorm bigger than any I’ve seen all Summer decided to happen just after this session started! Nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed meeting this family. I am so excited about finishing off the session next week. I have got lots planned! I hope to see the same fantastic smiles when we get together again. Despite the gathering clouds we got some special images. Here are two I’m sharing.

It was great meeting this family up from New York, though we didn’t have the best of our recent Massachusetts weather we did manage to dodge the rain! These lovely looking boys looked wonderful in their matching white outfits.

A change of direction for my latest blog entry. With Summer’s end fast approaching I thought I’d post some images from my family Summer. We all had a wonderful time at a house on the shores of Lake Champlain, Vermont. My kids and the photographer in the family (me) were rather taken with an old red canoe at the house. Lots of photo opportunities as my kids loved to spend time in it. Although they look like they are paddling the waters, this boat was safely at the water’s edge with Dad holding onto it!
Here’s the real deal though. All ready for the evening boating trip with Dad!
Then there were the fantastic sunsets, which were just a great excuse to play in the lake even longer!
