Here’s a toddler from a recent session enjoying the Fall, leaves and all! She was a real little sweetie and we have some very nice images from the session.

I met this family last week. They were very relaxed for the camera and this made for some really wonderful portraits. I think this session is one of the standouts for the Fall season!

Loved this family shoot! This two year old played quite the part. She gave me smiles, a few laughs and cheeky looks too. I also got a few indignant stares when I picked up the camera. She very cleverly figured out I was fun to be with if I wasn’t taking photos! It was wonderful meeting Mom and Dad too.

Celebrating another year of my funny, happy go lucky, special daughter!

Late last fall I did a shoot with the two boys in this family and their dog. It was one of my favorite sessions and they were some of the nicest boys I have ever met. Polite and very engaging. Their pet dog was a charmer too. This week they were back for another session along with Mom and Dad and the newest additional to the family, another rather adorable dog.  Four + Two = Another Lovely Session.

It was a pleasure to photograph this two year old girl. As the newest member of the family I am sure she is bringing lots of joy to her parents and siblings. Sometimes toddlers take the job of being photographed very seriously. Apparently this girl was all smiles in the car home and we were wondering how many smiles happened for the camera. Well here’s a half smile and it happens to be one of my favorites!

Here’s a preview from a recent high school senior session. We combined studio portraits with some additional images outside the studio. I must have said, “Just five more minutes” numerous times to this young man. He did a great job though and I think it was worth putting in the extra effort!

About this time last year I posted portraits from a personal shoot in my backyard. Here are this years images from the same location. We have a vernal pond which grows some tall grasses through the summer that turn brown by Fall. It’s a very convenient and pretty setting!

I photographed this little guy in studio when he was a baby. What a treat it was to meet him again for more photos. He’s certainly enjoying his status as an active inquiring two year old and what fun he was. I was very happy to chase him around with my camera.

Great session with a fun girl who was very relaxed for the camera. I photographed the eldest sister a couple of years ago and it was a pleasure working with her sibling this past week. Good luck to her with this years school studies and college plans.
